Anna O'Brian is an Annie and Emmy-nominated writer and artist, and is currently executive producing on the fifth season of Disney Channel's “Big City Greens.” For over ten years, she has worked as a writer, storyboard artist, and character designer on many highly-acclaimed shows including “We Bare Bears” at Cartoon Network, “Harvey Beaks” at Nickelodeon, and “Amphibia” at Walt Disney Television Animation. In 2016, she was hired as a storyboard artist on the first season of “Big City Greens” before rising to become a director on seasons 2 and 3. In 2020, Anna was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for writing on the series. In 2025, she received an Annie nomination for directing Big City Greens The Movie: Spacecation.

Anna attended the University of Florida, and later transferred to CalArts to study animation, where her film “Good Morning” was accepted into the 2013 CalArts Producers Show. She lives in Burbank with her cat Square and WILL land her axel one day!!!!!!!!!
